(FC 3 hr) Lifebooks: The Gift that Keeps Giving
Children in the foster care system are at risk of moving multiple times before permanency is achieved. Lifebooks are an important tool for both foster and adoptive children because they are a means of telling each child’s story in a creative and concrete forum. This training session will address ways in which lifebooks serve as a way of documenting children's feelings at various stages in their lives. In addition, lifebooks assist children in identifying current and past relationships with family members and other adults.
This workshop is CSWMFT Board approved for Social Work and Counselor CEUs.
